Private Wealth Accountants originally began as L & D Associates in 2010. Our mission was to build an accounting firm that would not only meet the needs of, but also be the trusted advisor to local individuals and businesses. Since then we have continued to invest in new ways to deliver value to our clients.
Our vision is to be the accountant of choice for individuals, family groups and SMEs. We believe that we can achieve this by building our business around the following principles:

Chang Lin
Over the past two decades Chang has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge from working in Mid-tier accounting firms & large multi-national corporations where he has provided audit, business advisory and taxation consulting services to clients of all sizes and from a wide range of industries.
Chang is also a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Finance from The University of Melbourne. He is passionate about learning and understanding his client’s needs in order to provide a personalised service.
Chang’s specialist technical skills include working with medical and health professionals, business structuring, tax compliance, tax planning, property investment and development and capital gains tax.
In his spare time Chang enjoys a round of golf, travelling, food, spending time with his beautiful wife and adorable daughter.

Lydon Desa
Lydon received a scholarship to Monash University where he completed his Bachelor of Accounting degree with flying colours. Soon after, he obtained membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Over the past two decades, Lydon has refined his tax and accounting skills while working in a variety of accounting firms. His passion has always been in building value in his clients’ businesses through providing exceptional tax and business advice. Lydon’s hands on approach and his ability to work closely with business owners allows him to better understand his clients’ needs and objectives.
He specialises in tax and business advice to doctors and allied health professionals in the medical field and to trades professionals in the building and construction industry.
Lydon is our resident West Coast Eagles supporter and loves the occasional walkabout.
George Taranto
George is a qualified Chartered Accountant, obtaining this qualification shortly after completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Monash University where he majored in both Accounting and Finance.
Working in public practice over the last decade, George has provided taxation and business services to both individuals and small businesses. His proactive approach ensures clients are always informed of their financial position and are able to take advantage of opportunities when they arise.
George’s main focus is on taxation compliance. His wealth of knowledge in this area and friendly demeanor has allowed him to build long lasting relationships with many of his clients.
Outside of work, George is a keen follower of a variety of sports and a one eyed St Kilda supporter.
